The Burden

Life is often like carrying a heavy load on your shoulders. Some burdens are ours alone to bear, while others are thrust upon us by circumstances beyond our control. But what defines us is not the burden itself—it's how we choose to carry it. There was once a young man named Arjun who lived in a small town. He was the eldest son in his family, and after his father passed away, the entire responsibility of the family fell on his shoulders. He had to support his mother, two sisters, and a younger brother. The burden was immense. Day and night, he worked tirelessly to provide for them. But unlike others who complained and grew bitter, Arjun realized something profound. The burden wasn't just a weight—it was a testament to his strength. Every rupee he earned was not just for survival, but for the well-being of those he loved. Every sacrifice he made was an investment in their future. One day, his youngest sister asked him, "Bhaiya, doesn't this burden tire you out?" ...

The Khan

Image
